Named after a Mini Golden Doodle called Teddy
The shop takes its name from its mascot, Teddy, a brown Mini Golden Doodle described as the business's Chief Happiness Officer. The business began after a move to the Thirsk countryside, with the aim of building something the family could grow and enjoy. It describes itself as family-run, with relatives helping out during the Christmas rush, and says each item is hand-picked and that it personally tests and verifies its products. Its terms add that all toys comply with relevant UK and EU safety standards and that age recommendations must be followed.
