Questions about Big Game Hunters
Where does Big Game Hunters deliver?
Big Game Hunters delivers standard items almost everywhere in the UK. Mainland orders over £50 ship free, while Northern Ireland (BT), the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey carry specialist courier fees of £4.99 per quantity. The exact fee appears at checkout once you enter your postcode. Oversize items cannot currently be sent to those regions.
How much does delivery of oversize items cost at Big Game Hunters?
Oversize items at Big Game Hunters cost £4.99 per oversize parcel and are not covered by free shipping. Examples are 1.8m, 2.2m and 3m slides, the Redwood Tower and the Mansion and Lodge playhouses, delivered in 3–5 working days. If your basket mixes standard and oversize items, you pay only the single highest delivery fee; several oversize items are charged cumulatively.
Can parts of a Big Game Hunters order arrive on different days?
Yes, large Big Game Hunters products such as multi-box basketball hoops and tower playhouses may come in several boxes. If the courier cannot fit all boxes into one van, parts of the order may arrive on consecutive days. After dispatch you receive an email with tracking information, where you can follow the status of every parcel.
How do I return an item to Big Game Hunters?
You return goods to Big Game Hunters within 14 calendar days of delivery, in their original packaging with any instructions and the despatch note explaining the reason. Items must be in the condition they were delivered. Unless the product is faulty, you pay for the return; the shop recommends an insured, tracked courier because it does not accept responsibility for loss in transit.
How quickly does Big Game Hunters refund a return?
Big Game Hunters processes refunds within 14 days of receiving your return. The money goes back to the payment method you used for the purchase, and the shop only contacts you if there is a problem. Including the despatch note helps the refund go through quickly. Exchanges are not possible: you return the item and place a new order.
Can I cancel or change a Big Game Hunters order?
Only quickly: Big Game Hunters processes orders on the same business day and cannot accept cancellation requests received more than 8 hours after the order was placed. If the order has not been fully processed yet, the Customer Services team may be able to amend it when you send your order details and the change you need.
What should I do if an item from Big Game Hunters arrives faulty?
Photograph the damage and send it to Big Game Hunters through the contact us form, together with your Order Number, Name and Address. For faulty products you do not have to pay the return cost, unlike ordinary returns, which are at your expense.
What does Big Game Hunters sell?
Big Game Hunters sells outdoor toys and garden games for families: mud kitchens and add-ons, wooden playhouses, play tents, sandpits, swings, water slides, giant games such as Hi-Tower and Giant Connect 4, board games, sports games and school play equipment. Basketball hoops and netball posts by Bee-Ball are part of the range, as are role play and small world toys.
Who makes the products sold at Big Game Hunters?
Most Big Game Hunters products are manufactured by its parent company Garden Games Ltd. The company began with Hi-Tower, a giant version of a tower game built for a family birthday party, and grew from giant garden games into trampolines, playhouses, basketball and sports equipment. It also runs a specialist sports ball shop, sportsballshop.co.uk.
How can I contact Big Game Hunters?
You can reach Big Game Hunters through the contact form on its website, by phone on +44 1865 392 439 or by post to Chadwick Farm, Garford, Oxfordshire, OX13 5PD. The maximum response time to the form is 2 working days, though the team usually replies the same day. Product dimensions and assembly instructions are on each product page.

Big Game Hunters: outdoor play and giant garden games for the whole family
Big Game Hunters is an Oxfordshire shop for outdoor toys and garden games that started in 2006 and calls itself 'the Play Experts'. It is aimed at families who want to get children playing outside: mud kitchens, wooden playhouses, sandpits, swings and slides sit alongside giant games for parties and schools and board games for rainy days.
Much of what you find is designed and made by the company behind the shop, and a voucher code from save-up.co.uk can make your order cheaper at checkout.
A range built around garden play and giant games
The shop groups its products into outdoor play, role play and small world toys, with a 'Make Your Own Bundle' option for building a set your own way. Many items are wooden, and mud kitchens and playhouses come with separate add-ons such as ovens, chalkboards, planters and storage boxes, so a set-up can grow over time.
- Mud kitchens and extras: single, double and triple kitchens, utensil sets and hanger panels
- Wooden playhouses and extras: café shop playhouses, picnic tables and serving ledges
- Giant games: Hi-Tower, Giant Connect 4, Chess, Draughts, Dominoes, Kubb and limbo
- Sports games: Bee-Ball basketball hoops, netball posts, quoits and pétanque sets
- Garden play: sandpits, swing seats, climbing stones and water slides for climbing frames
Products made by its own parent company
Big Game Hunters is the retail division of Garden Games Limited, and the majority of its products are manufactured by that parent company. It all began with a giant tower game built for a family birthday party, which later became Hi-Tower. From there the business expanded into trampolines, playhouses, basketball and sports equipment, and it runs a separate sports ball shop serving sports clubs across the country.
The team is small and has no call centre; its members specialise in areas of outdoor play and have seen and used the products they sell. Questions sent through the contact form are answered within 2 working days at most, usually the same day.
Delivery that depends on the size of the item
Because the range runs from small accessories to 3-metre slides, delivery is split into standard and oversize items. Standard items under 120cm ordered before 12:30 PM on a working day leave the warehouse the same day, and tracked delivery on the mainland takes 2–3 working days. Oversize freight takes 3–5 working days and is charged per parcel, while mixed baskets pay only the highest single fee. Oversize goods cannot currently go to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands or the Crown Dependencies, so check your postcode before planning a large playhouse.
How to save at Big Game Hunters
The simplest saving is the delivery threshold: standard orders over £50 to the UK Mainland ship free, so a small add-on can tip a basket over the line, although oversize items are always charged separately. Many products show a sale price next to the regular price, and the homepage carries a deals section. A voucher code goes into the discount code box at checkout; check the total before you click 'Confirm', as codes often exclude reduced items.
For presents, the eGift Card from £25 to £200 arrives by email and stays valid for 18 months. If you are comparing other Toys & Games shops with voucher codes on save-up.co.uk, see JMBricklayer Voucher Codes, Outsmarted Discount Codes, 365games Promo Code and MojoFun Voucher Code.
