Questions about The Foam People
Where are The Foam People mattresses made?
The Foam People makes its mattresses in-house in the UK, at its Head Office and Factory in Ossett, West Yorkshire. The company says it produces all products itself, with no retail mark-up and no middlemen. The site address is Royds House, Royds Mill, Leeds Road, Ossett, WF5 9YA, open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, but there is no showroom on site.
Can I return a The Foam People mattress because it feels too firm?
No. The Foam People does not accept returns due to personal preference based on the firmness rating, which is given for guidance only. Other returns are possible within 30 days of receiving the item if it is unused, in its original packaging and in the same condition. You need the order number from your confirmation email as proof of purchase.
How do I start a return at The Foam People?
You start a return by emailing info@thefoampeople.co.uk. If the return is accepted, The Foam People sends you instructions on how and where to send the package. Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted. The cost of sending the item back is down to you, not the shop.
Does The Foam People offer exchanges?
No, The Foam People cannot offer an exchange service. The shop recommends returning the item you have and, once the return is accepted, making a separate purchase for the new item. If you use a voucher code, check whether it is still valid for the new order, as the second purchase is a separate transaction.
How are refunds paid at The Foam People?
Refunds go back to your original payment method automatically once The Foam People has received and inspected the return and found it in order. The shop points out that your bank or credit card company may take some time to process and post the refund to your account.
What should I do if my The Foam People order arrives damaged?
Inspect the order as soon as it arrives and contact The Foam People immediately if the item is defective, damaged or the wrong item, so the team can evaluate the issue and put it right. For custom sized mattresses, damage, a fault or wrong measurements are the only grounds on which a return is accepted.
Which vehicles does The Foam People make mattresses for?
The Foam People specialises in caravan, campervan, motorhome and truck mattresses alongside standard memory foam mattresses. The homepage lists custom cutting and bespoke campervan, caravan and motorhome solutions, and a Core Caravan 6-inch deep memory mattress where you choose the size, described as suited to static caravans.

Made in-house by a family business in Ossett
The Foam People's Head Office and Factory sit in West Yorkshire, which the company calls the heart of UK mattress production. Over 75 staff produce and pack the products, and the team draws on more than 80 years of combined experience in foam mattresses. The shop says that making everything itself means no retail mark-up and no middlemen. The website is run by The Sleep People Ltd, the parent company, under The Foam People name. There is no showroom at the Ossett site, so you order online or speak to the sales team by phone, email or WhatsApp message.
Custom sizes for caravans, campervans and trucks
Custom cutting is what sets the shop apart: you can order bespoke mattresses for campervans, caravans, motorhomes and trucks rather than fitting a standard size. Measure carefully, because a custom sized mattress cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged, faulty or to measurements other than those confirmed with the sales team. Mattress and topper dimensions may also vary by ±20mm, in line with accepted industry standards, so allow for that tolerance when you plan a tight fit in a vehicle.
Saving on your The Foam People order
Many products already show a sale price next to the regular price, and delivery within the UK is advertised as free, so a voucher code mainly reduces the price of the goods. Enter it in the discount code box at checkout and check the total before you pay. Keep in mind that returns within 30 days are at your own cost and that the shop does not exchange items, so choosing the right size and firmness first saves you money too. Further Home & Furniture shops with voucher codes on save-up.co.uk include Cox and Cox Voucher Codes, Woodyatt Curtains Discount Codes, Bemz Promo Code and Wallpaperdirect Voucher Code.
