Questions about Venchi
Does Venchi deliver to Northern Ireland?
No. Venchi's shipping page lists Northern Ireland among the destinations it does not currently ship to, along with the Channel Islands, Cyprus, Malta, Turkey and others. It also cannot deliver to PO boxes or postal boxes. Orders for Great Britain should be placed on the Venchi UK website, while EU deliveries go through the separate Venchi Europe site.
How do I join the Venchi V-Club?
You join online or in store, free of charge. With an existing venchi.com account, open your personal page, select the V-CLUB section and click «Join the V-CLUB», then accept the Terms and Conditions. Without an account, click «Register for the V-CLUB» on the home page and your loyalty card arrives by email within 60 minutes. In store, scan the QR code and register with your email address.
Does the Venchi V-Club discount apply to gift cards and shipping?
No. The permanent discount can be used on any Venchi product except gift cards, and it does not apply to shipping costs. It is applied automatically from the V-PINK level whenever your V-Club card is linked to a purchase at the till or at checkout. It updates automatically if you move up or down a tier.
Can I return chocolate bought from Venchi?
Generally not if you simply change your mind. Venchi's returns page states that products which may rapidly deteriorate or expire include all food products, so withdrawal only applies to items that can be resold without risk to consumers. Products with non-conformities are handled separately through the Customer Service contact form. Where withdrawal does not apply, Venchi sends the products back and charges you shipping.
Who pays for returns at Venchi and where do they go?
You pay the return shipping. To start a return, download the withdrawal form, fill it in, send it to customercare@venchi.com and place it in the parcel. Returns go to Venchi Richmond ECommerce, 25-26 George St, Richmond TW9 1HY, and must arrive within 14 days of the notice that the return procedure has started. Online purchases cannot be returned to a physical store.
How quickly does Venchi issue a refund?
Venchi refunds all amounts paid within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. The refund is usually issued via the same payment method, and the Venchi Gift Card also counts as a payment method. Before approving it, Venchi checks that the goods are intact, in their original packaging with all parts, and returned within the time limit.
Do I pay customs duties on a Venchi order to the UK?
No extra amounts are due on delivery. Venchi states that goods for countries outside the European Union are subject to taxes and customs duties, that these customs fees are borne by Venchi, and that it ships on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis. Your parcel therefore arrives without charges beyond what you paid when ordering.
Can I change the delivery address of a Venchi order?
Yes, through the carrier. Once the order is confirmed, the carrier sends you an email with a link to manage changes. There you can modify the address or delivery date, ask for delivery to a safe place or a neighbour, or redirect the parcel to a pickup point. Venchi stores cannot be chosen as a pickup point.
How do I track my Venchi order?
Venchi sends a confirmation email with a tracking link when your order is ready for shipment. Venchi's signature products have long histories. The Nougatine, created in 1922, wraps crunchy caramelised hazelnuts in a 60% dark chocolate shell, and the recipe has stayed unchanged for over a century. Chocoviar, launched in 2004, consists of crunchy chocolate pearls that the company calls chocolate caviar and that later inspired its best-sellers. Hazelnuts come from Piedmont. In its stores Venchi pairs chocolate with gelato made daily, a concept it calls the Chocogelateria; the first London store opened in 2012. For Christmas, its limited edition panettone is handcrafted by a Michelin-starred chef, naturally leavened and preservative-free.
