Questions about Golden Maple
How much does Golden Maple shipping cost?
Shipping is free once your order reaches the threshold for your region, and a flat $6.00 applies below it. The shipping policy states $29.99 for non-EU countries and $36.99 for EU countries, and the home page advertises free shipping over $29.99. The exact cost for your destination is shown at checkout, so check it there before you pay.
How long does Golden Maple delivery take?
Expect 6–18 business days in total: 1–3 business days of processing plus 5–15 business days of shipping. The shop also says delivery usually takes about 15 working days for most destinations. Shipping time starts from the shipping date, not the order date, and holidays do not count as business days. You can follow your order on the online order status page.
Do I pay customs duties or VAT on a Golden Maple order?
For most countries no import fees, duties or VAT are due, but for some limited countries they may apply under local rules. The shop names certain European countries such as Germany and Italy, and Canada, as examples. Any customs fees, duties or taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the product price or the shipping cost.
What is the Golden Maple return period?
Golden Maple accepts a return within 30 days of receipt, excluding opened products. You must contact customer service with your refund request within those 30 days; after that the request is no longer accepted. For hygiene, safety and cleanliness reasons, items must be new, unused and in the condition in which you received them.
Who pays return shipping at Golden Maple?
If you return an item for your own reasons, such as not liking it or not wanting it any more, you pay the return shipping. If Golden Maple made the mistake and sent the wrong or damaged item, it offers a no-obligation refund. Send a picture of your entire order, the damaged items and a short description of the problem.
How quickly does Golden Maple refund an approved return?
Generally you receive the refund within 3–5 business days. First you receive an email with instructions on how and where to send the return, and you provide a tracking number. Orders placed with redeeming rewards or in-app rewards are eligible for a refund of 50% at most, so check this before paying with rewards.
Can I cancel or change a Golden Maple order?
Only before you receive a shipping notification. If you place duplicate orders, Golden Maple's customer service sends a confirmation email; you may reply to cancel or modify the order, and the team responds within 24 hours. If there is no response within five days, the order is confirmed and shipped as normal. Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled or modified.
Which payment methods does Golden Maple accept?
Golden Maple accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards, and you can also pay with PayPal. With PayPal you are directed to the PayPal site to complete the purchase before returning to Golden Maple. If a card transaction is approved the amount is reserved immediately; if it is not approved, the order is cancelled.
Is it safe to pay at Golden Maple?
Golden Maple says it uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the data you send, shown by a padlock in the browser and a URL starting with https. The shop also states it is registered with Cybertrust as an authentic site. If your card issuer is in the EU, you may be asked to verify the payment under PSD2.

Golden Maple: miniature brushes and painting tools from a brush maker
Golden Maple sells brushes, paints and painting tools for miniature painters, watercolour artists and model builders through its own online shop at artgoldenmaple.com. It is written for people who are painting their first miniature as much as for those who have painted their hundredth, and it ships worldwide.
The shop comes from a brush maker, so the range centres on brushes and the tools around them rather than on general craft supplies. A voucher code from save-up.co.uk can make the order cheaper, as long as the conditions of the code are met.
A range built around brushes, paints and accessories
The shop menu opens with Shop All, Gift Sets, New In and Best Sellers, and then splits into brushes, paints, tools and art brushes. Miniature brushes are sorted by type and by material, so you can choose between detail, dry and base brushes, or between Kolinsky sable and nylon hair. Paints come as sets of bottles, for example 10 bottles of 20 ml in the metallic and contrast sets and 16 bottles of 20 ml in the Game Color sets.
- Miniature brushes: detail brush, dry brush and base brush
- Materials: Kolinsky sable brush, nylon hair and single brushes
- Tools & accessories: painting handle, wet palettes, storage, cutting and sanding, cleaning and maintenance
- Art brushes: watercolour brush, Masters Collection, Chinese calligraphy brush, acrylic and oil brush
- Gift sets and paints
A brush maker from Wengang Town
Golden Maple tells its story from Wengang Town in Jiangxi Province, a brush-making town with over 1,600 years of local history that has been honoured as the home of Chinese brushes since 2004. The company says it has been making brushes for over 30 years, combines traditional techniques with advanced machinery, and still makes many brushes by hand before they pass quality control checks.
In 2008 it entered foreign trade and began selling to painters abroad. The home page also lists FSC certified, lifetime customer support and 30-day returns among its promises.
Tools for miniature painters
Much of the range is aimed at tabletop and scale-model hobbies. The product names refer to Warhammer, D&D and scale models, and there is a model scriber for panel lines on Gundam and scale models. Ergonomic painting handles come with magnetic clamp heads, and a 2 in 1 wet palette kit supports acrylic miniature painting.
The all-in-one painting kit combines a wet palette, 11 brushes, 18 paints of 20 ml, an ergonomic handle, 5 clamp heads and sticky putty. One Kolinsky sable brush has replaceable heads, with the promise to replace the tip and keep the brush.
Delivery, returns and payment
Delivery is calculated as processing time plus shipping time: 1–3 business days to prepare the order and 5–15 business days in transit. Free shipping starts at $29.99 for non-EU countries and $36.99 for EU countries; below that a flat $6.00 applies, and the checkout shows the exact cost. Duties or VAT may apply in some countries and are the buyer's responsibility.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt, excluding opened products, and the buyer pays return shipping when the reason is a change of mind. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal.
How to save at Golden Maple
A code from this page goes into the promo code or discount code box at checkout; check the price before you pay, because codes often exclude items that are already reduced. The shop also offers a free-to-join membership with a sign-up code, which members can share to earn commission, and a newsletter with news, promotions and painting tips. Art teachers, students and bulk buyers can ask for personalised orders and special discounts.
If you are comparing craft shops, there are further Arts & Crafts shops with voucher codes on save-up.co.uk, among them Craft Buddy Voucher Codes, The Knitting Network Discount Codes, Baker Ross Voucher Code and HTVRONT Promo Code.
