Questions about Ready Steady Bed
What does Ready Steady Bed sell?
Ready Steady Bed sells children's soft furnishings and furniture. The homepage names children's beanbags, Z-Beds and foam chairs as its collections, made with super soft, ultra-cosy fabrics. The shop menu lists single and folding kids Z beds, a play sofa, indoor and standard kids bean bags, bean bags, Z beds and bundles. The About Us page adds bedding, room decor and accessories in coordinating designs.
Does Ready Steady Bed charge for delivery in the UK?
No, not to UK mainland addresses: the Shipping & Returns page states that all items include free delivery in the UK. The terms clarify that 'Free UK Delivery' means UK mainland delivery addresses, and that prices exclude delivery costs which are specified at checkout depending on the total weight of the order. If your postcode is outside the mainland, check the delivery amount at checkout before you pay.
Which postcodes are outside the Ready Steady Bed free delivery area?
Ready Steady Bed lists these as non-UK mainland postcodes: FK17-99, G83, GY all, HS1-9, IM all, IV1-28, IV33-51, IV 55-56, JE all, KA27-28, KW all, PA20-48, PA60-78, PH18-26, PH30-42, PH32-44 and ZE1-3. Addresses with these postcodes are not covered by the 'Free UK Delivery' wording, so the delivery charge shown at checkout applies.
How quickly does Ready Steady Bed dispatch an order?
Ready Steady Bed aims to dispatch all goods within 48 hours of receiving cleared payment, but reserves the right to deliver within a reasonable timescale, and all delivery dates are estimates. Some product lines have a longer lead time depending on the time of year and type of product, so check the shipping information shown next to the item before ordering.
How do I return an item to Ready Steady Bed?
Contact Ready Steady Bed by email or phone first, then send the item back unused, in its original condition and packaging with any enclosed documentation. Goods are only accepted if they are despatched within 14 days of delivery, unless the shop has told you otherwise. Returns go to the Readysteadybed.co.uk Returns Department; the email for questions is customercare@readysteadybed.com.
Who pays the return postage at Ready Steady Bed?
You do. Ready Steady Bed states that the cost of returning the item is your responsibility and that the item remains your responsibility until it reaches the shop. The refund excludes the original delivery charge; delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made. A tracked service is therefore sensible for bulky items such as bean bags.
Can I exchange a Ready Steady Bed product instead of getting a refund?
Yes. Under its 100% money back guarantee, Ready Steady Bed offers a full refund on receipt of the returned item, or, if you prefer, an exchange. The same conditions apply in both cases: the item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and returned within 14 days of receipt after you have contacted the shop.
Where are Ready Steady Bed products made?
In the UK. The homepage says all products are designed and filled in the UK, and the About Us page explains that designs are printed onto fabric in the company's own factory and sewn by experienced seamstresses before each item is handmade and despatched directly to you. Producing in house lets the shop offer many coordinating items in the same design.
Does Ready Steady Bed deliver to PO boxes or hotels?
Not necessarily. Ready Steady Bed reserves the right not to deliver to certain addresses, including but not exclusively UK post office boxes and hotel rooms. Goods go to the shipping address you give at checkout, and the shop asks you to make sure the address is correct and that someone is available to take delivery, as most couriers use signed-for services.
When can I reach Ready Steady Bed customer service?
Ready Steady Bed gives its customer service hours as everyday 9:00-17:00 on the contact page, which also has a form for your name, email, phone number and message. For orders and returns, the shop's email address is customercare@readysteadybed.com, as stated on the Shipping & Returns and About Us pages.
Will Ready Steady Bed send me offers by email?
Yes. The terms state that when you order with Readysteadybed.co.uk you consent to receiving special offers and promotions by email. These emails are a further place where the shop announces promotions, alongside the voucher codes and deals listed on this page, which are checked daily.
Ready Steady Bed: kids' Z beds, bean bags and play sofas made in the UK
Ready Steady Bed is a children's soft furnishings brand that has made its own design bedding, room decor, accessories and furniture since 2006. It is aimed at parents who want to kit out a child's room, or have a spare bed ready for sleepovers, from one shop with coordinating designs. The range centres on fold-out Z beds, bean bags and a play sofa, all in soft, cosy fabrics, and a voucher code from save-up.co.uk makes your order cheaper.
The range from Z beds to bean bags
The shop menu is short and focused on furniture that children can sleep, sit and play on. Z beds come as single and folding versions that fold away when they are not needed, while the bean bags are offered for indoor use and as standard kids models. Bundles combine several items, which suits parents furnishing a whole room or buying for siblings. The homepage also names foam chairs as one of its collections.
- Single kids Z bed
- Folding kids Z bed
- Play sofa
- Indoor kids bean bag and kids bean bag
- Bean bags and Z beds
- Bundles
Designed, printed and sewn in-house in the UK
What marks Ready Steady Bed out is that it makes its products itself. Many designs start in the design studio, where they are hand drawn or painted before being digitised. The design is then printed onto fabric in the company's own factory and sewn by experienced seamstresses, and each item is handmade in the UK and despatched directly to you. Because everything is produced in house, the shop can offer many coordinating items in the same design, and new designs are created each season in line with current trends.
Delivery, returns and customer service
All items include free delivery in the UK; the terms define this as UK mainland addresses and list the island and Highland postcodes that fall outside it. The shop aims to dispatch within 48 hours of cleared payment, deliveries usually take place Monday to Friday, and tracking details arrive by email. Most couriers use signed-for services, so someone should be at home. If a product does not suit you, you can return it unused in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt, after contacting the shop, for a refund or an exchange; return postage and the original delivery charge are not refunded unless the goods are faulty.
- Free delivery: UK mainland addresses
- Dispatch: aimed within 48 hours of cleared payment
- Returns: 14 days, unused and in original packaging
- Customer service: everyday 9:00-17:00
How to save at Ready Steady Bed
Since delivery to the UK mainland is already included, a voucher code goes straight towards the price of the bed or bean bag. Enter it in the voucher or promo code field in the basket or at checkout and check the total before paying; usually only one code applies per order. Bundles are worth comparing with single items, and the emails with special offers that come with an order are another source of promotions. Further Home & Furniture shops with voucher codes on save-up.co.uk include Candles Direct Voucher Codes, Dulux Decorator Centre Discount Codes, Waterford Promo Code and Kitchen Knives Voucher Code.
