Questions about Lunar Artefacts
Does Lunar Artefacts deliver to PO boxes or collection points?
No. Lunar Artefacts delivers to residential or office addresses only. It does not deliver to military addresses, specific restricted zones, collection points or PO boxes. To change the delivery address after ordering, contact Customer Support. If your country is not listed at checkout, ask Customer Support whether shipping to your location is possible.
Can Lunar Artefacts send one order to several addresses?
No. Lunar Artefacts cannot split a single order for delivery to multiple locations. If you are sending gifts to different people, place a separate order for each destination. Delivery costs are calculated per address and shown at checkout, so check each order before you pay. If a delivery runs late, contact the courier first and then Customer Support.
Is a Lunar Artefacts order always dispatched from the UK?
Not necessarily. Lunar Artefacts has its headquarters in the United Kingdom but operates several dispatch centres around the world. It cannot guarantee that every item is dispatched from the UK. Orders bound for the European Union are shipped from centres outside the EU. Customer Support can tell you more about where a particular item ships from.
What happens if I refuse to pay duties on a Lunar Artefacts parcel?
The shipment may be returned to Lunar Artefacts or, in some cases, destroyed by customs. If it comes back, any duties, taxes or handling charges Lunar Artefacts paid are deducted from your refund. If the goods are destroyed or never reach the company, no refund is possible. Lunar Artefacts has no control over parcels held in customs.
What should I do if a Lunar Artefacts parcel arrives damaged?
If the package looks significantly damaged, do not accept it from the courier. If it has already been accepted or left at your address, photograph the damaged box before opening it, then inspect the contents. Photograph any damaged or defective items too. Send Lunar Artefacts Customer Support a description of the issue with the photos attached.
Can I return a Lunar Artefacts item someone gave me as a gift?
Yes. You can exchange or return a gift as long as you have the order number or the purchaser's contact details. A refund is paid automatically to the original purchaser, not to you. If you exchange for a cheaper item, the purchaser also receives the price difference. The 14-calendar-day period from delivery still applies.
Which Lunar Artefacts products cannot be returned?
Bespoke and personalised products cannot be returned for a refund, and items with Personalised Engraving cannot be exchanged. For hygiene reasons, sealed products that have been opened are not eligible either. Some exceptions apply to opened sealed products, but these carry a restocking fee. All other items must be in perfect, re-sellable condition in their original packaging.
How do I start a return or exchange at Lunar Artefacts?
Contact Lunar Artefacts Customer Support before you send anything back. You pay the return or exchange shipping, and that cost is deducted from the final return total. After the items arrive and pass inspection, processing can take up to 14 business days. For an approved exchange, the new item is then dispatched to you.
How can I contact Lunar Artefacts?
Use the contact form on the Lunar Artefacts website. It asks for your name, an optional order number, a subject and your message. Subjects include My Order, Bespoke Order, Requesting Replacement Parts, Exchange & Return and Complaints. The team works Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and London public holidays, and replies within a couple of business days.
How is a Lunar Artefacts E-Gift Card sent?
By email. When you choose to send the card as a gift, you enter the recipient's email address and can add an optional name, a send-on date and a message of up to 200 characters. You can also print the card in time for the celebration. Each card contains a unique gift code for the checkout.
Are card details safe when ordering from Lunar Artefacts?
Yes. According to the Lunar Artefacts Terms of service, credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. Other content may be transferred unencrypted. The store runs on the e-commerce platform of Shopify Inc. By placing an order, you agree to the Terms of service of Lunar Artefacts Limited.
Lunar Artefacts: design-led desk accessories, tools and gifts from a London studio
Lunar Artefacts is a British design studio that makes everyday tools with the care you would expect from performance cars or heirloom timepieces. Its founders, an architect and an automotive designer, combine spatial vision with the precision of car engineering. The result is a range of desk accessories, premium tech and tools, leather computer mice, wireless chargers and precision screwdrivers.
The shop suits you if you want a thoughtful gift, a corporate present or an upgrade for your own workspace. A voucher code from save-up.co.uk makes your order at lunarartefacts.com cheaper.
A range built around tech, tools, desk and life
The studio sums up its range in four words on the homepage: tech, tools, desk and life. The shop menu sorts the products by type, so you can go straight to the object you have in mind. Two pieces stand out. The Rota-Master Screwdriver is presented as an award-winning, re-engineered version of an ordinary tool, and the Lunar Shadow finish is listed at £225.00. The Leverage Aero bottle opener is built with wheels and weight, turning the opening of a drink into a play.
- Precision Screwdriver, including the Rota-Master in Lunar Shadow and Modernist Brown
- Pointer Instrument in finishes such as Classic Brown, British Racing Green and Umbra Bleu
- Car Bottle Opener and Wireless Charger
- Computer Mouse, Desk Mat and Mouse Pad
- Leather Phone Pouch and Signature Gift Box
- Accessories & Parts, such as Additional Tops - Brown at £40.00
Gifts sorted by occasion and an E-Gift Card
Much of the shop is set up for gifting. Besides the product menu there is a menu by occasion with Gifts for Dads, Gifts for Her, Gifts for Him, Desk Gifts and Corporate Gifts, plus sections for gift sets and personalised gifts. If you are unsure what to choose, the E-Gift Card starts at £50.00 and comes in further denominations of 100, 150, 200 and 300. It is sent by email on a date you can pick, carries a message of up to 200 characters and can also be printed for the celebration.
Keep in mind that bespoke and personalised items cannot be returned for a refund, and engraved pieces cannot be exchanged.
Objects meant to be repaired and kept
What sets Lunar Artefacts apart is its ethos. The studio says every piece is built to endure and designed to be repaired, renewed and kept, describing this as a return to a time when people owned fewer things but loved them longer. That idea runs through the shop: the support pages list a Lifetime Repair Service, the menu has a Repair Service entry and an Accessories & Parts section, and the contact form offers Requesting Replacement Parts as a subject. The team answers within a couple of business days, Monday to Friday, outside London public holidays.
How to save at Lunar Artefacts
A voucher code from this page goes into the checkout once your items are in the cart; the delivery cost appears after you enter your address. For UK orders, Royal Mail 48 at £3.95 is the cheaper option, while DPD Next Day at £9.95 is worth it if you order by 1pm BST and need the parcel quickly. Check the item before you choose engraving, because return shipping is deducted from your refund and personalised pieces stay with you. E-gift card codes are also redeemed at the checkout within two years of purchase.
If you are comparing gift ideas, you will find further Gadgets & Gifts shops with voucher codes on save-up.co.uk, among them EXG Pro Voucher Codes, Lush Lobster Discount Codes, Moonpig Promo Code and Go Groopie Voucher Code.
Shipping from a London studio to customers worldwide
Lunar Artefacts has its registered office in London but runs several dispatch centres around the world, so not every item leaves from the UK. Orders for the European Union are shipped from centres outside the EU, and local taxes and duties of 1% to 25% may apply there. Express delivery to the United States costs $25 and takes an estimated 3-5 days. The shop does not deliver to PO boxes, collection points or military addresses, and one order cannot be split across several addresses.
